Lydia Mehr had little Asher Kade at 1:14 am on October 1st, and mother and baby were home later that day. Congratulations!
I like Nathan's description of the event:
Asher was 7 lbs 14 ounces which makes him the lightweight in the family :)
He was 20 in long
Has a full head of dark hair, just like Ethan did.
We had him at the Birth Center in town with an awesome midwife. Lydia opted for a waterbirth. By opted I mean she wanted to relax in the big tub and when things started rolling really fast she didn't want to leave ;)
We arrived at the Birth Center at approximately 11:50 pm last night. I sped down Prince, Country Club and Grant only seeing one cop (which luckily was at a stoplight).
Asher was born at 1:14 this morning.
He cried, ate, and slept which was great because then we were able to get some rest before coming home.
